Pass to Columbus Clippers for Sunday games
by Theresa Garee
Both the Hilltop and the Franklinton branches offer the Culture Pass Program to cardholders.
For August, the Columbus Clippers Sunday Pass is available at both local library locations. This pass allows access to bleacher, lawn, or standing room sections. These passes are first-come, first-serve and allow up to two adults and four children (age 12 and under).
The Culture Pass Program has other passes available at both locations: the Ohio History Museum Pass and the Columbus Zoo Pass.
However, each branch has some passes that others do not.
For example, Hilltop Branch (511 S. Hague St.) offers the Columbus Art Museum Pass. This pass allows up to eight people admission to the museum, as well as, free parking and a 10 percent discount at the museum store and/or cafe.
The Franklinton Branch (1061 W. Town St.) offers a Dawes Arboretum Pass and a National Veterans Memorial and Museum Pass.
Each Columbus Metropolitan Library can offer different Culture Passes to cardholders. None are able to be reserved but one can visit a different location in order to check out a pass they may want.
A trip up to the New Albany Branch might be worth the trek for their Shadowbox Live Culture Pass. Not all passes are available all year long. Some passes like the Jazz Art Group is only available during select performances.
