People from all over Columbus came to see the amazing feats of strength at the Gemutlichkeit Games, drink beer, and enjoy the Schmidt’s Oktoberfest.

Audience members were offered the chance to lift a Slater Stone. One option was 185 pounds and one was 135 pounds. Amanda Walsh won the show by lifting both stones to the barrel.

Strength athletes took the stage for several events throughout the day including the log lift, stone throw (Steinstossen), natural stone-to-shoulder, keg throw for height, and the Steinheben Lift (a bavarian stone lift).
