Columbus City Schools were able to take a trip to Lynd’s Fruit Farm with Pathway Express on Sept. 13.

Transportation departed from Walnut Ridge High School, Northland High School, South High School and West High School.

Students were able to enjoy a free book giveaway and meet-and-greet with local author Paula Johnson Neal. Neal focuses her writing on social emotional learning.

“Through relatable characters and interactive storytelling, my books help young readers build empathy, regulate big emotions, and develop the tools they need to thrive socially and emotionally.” Neal says on her website.

The next Pathway Express will take students to the Lincoln Theater (769 E. Long St.) on December 13. Find out more abut the Pathway Express program here: https://www.ccsoh.us/Page/11201
